New Child Support Cases:
A new support case needs a completed Child Support Information Sheet. The completed form should be given to the Child Support Deputy Clerk. Please be sure to write your cause number on your check and the name of the custodial parent so that your payment is credited to the correct account and that there is no delay in sending your payment to the custodial parent.
Everyone who pays support in Indiana must pay an annual fee of $55.00. (IC 33-19-6-5) This fee is in addition to the regular support payments and must be paid on a separate check from support.
Need a copy of your payment history? The cost is .50¢ cents per page plus an additional $1.00 if you need this certified. Privacy laws require you to show a picture ID when you pick it up in person.
Receiving Child Support:
If you are receiving support and have questions, please call the KIDS line at 1-800-840-8757. For a copy of your payment history the cost is .50¢ cents per page plus an additional $1.00 if you need it certified. Privacy laws require you to show a picture ID when you pick it up in person.
The court orders child support however, the Clerk does not have the authority to enforce these orders. If you need to have a support order enforced, modified or arrearages calculated please talk with your attorney. Please notify our office whenever you have a change of address. In order to prevent fraud, addresses can only be changed in person or by fax or by mail. After you print out the Floyd County Clerk's Child Support Change of Address Form, mail it, along wth a copy of a photo ID to:
